Help for people who want more peace with food, body, and exercise.

Hi, I’m Laura,

As the youngest of three siblings, I had a lot of time to observe the cause and effect of human behavior in my family system. I invested a lot of energy into being “a chameleon”, shape-shifting and trying not to have needs because I thought that would help me get what I wanted. And although parts of me believe that worked out in some ways, I also noticed losing connection to myself, my emotions, and my sense of self. So, in an effort to make sense of all that, I pursued psychology. Now, I invite people into reflection on their own stories, and new chapters in life they hope to write.

Why am I a therapist? I hold a deep curiosity about human behavior. From a young age, I set out to collect as much data as I could in an attempt to better understand myself and others. And the impact people have on each other. I often found myself wondering, “Why do people do what they do?”.

Outside of work you can find me with my family, watching a television series, hiking, camping, rock climbing, gardening, cooking and baking, or exploring a new coffee shop.
